Alexia Echevarria’s Red and Black Dress

I am a major fan of a dress with black paneling on the side, like Alexia Echevarria’s black and red dress on tonight’s Real Housewives of Miami. The black side panels give  create a slimming illusion, and it’s a great style that flatters almost everyone and makes a woman look instantly sophisticated. While I prefer my side panel dresses in black and white or nude and black, Alexis brought a little red hot Miami flavor to hers tonight and showed us how to work the trend with a bright color. No matter how you wear it, it’s a must have trend for A/W 2012.  And for once, I don’t even have a cute little joke to make.
