Tinsley Mortimer’s Black Floral Embroidered Dress at Carole’s Art Opening

Season 9 Episode 10 Real Housewives of New York Fashion and Style

Tinsley Mortimer’s black floral embroidered dress at Carole’s art opening would have been the most attention grabbing thing in the room that night, if not for Carole’s boobs the eye catching art. And while Dorinda may have questioned if certain things in the paintings were a bit larger than life in reference to her good friend Carole, she was looking in all the wrong places. If she really wanted to see something that was larger than she expected she should have been looking at the price tag on Tinsley’s gold embellished bow dress.

While we loved the uniqueness of the peter pan collar and cape style, all of these details and embellishment came at a pretty heft price. We’re used to seeing Tinsley in more contemporary, mid-priced lines like Alice and Olivia and Self-Portrait, but this pieces is as designer as it gets. But this babe clearly has a budget based on her apartment search, so if she’s going to spend we are happy to see her do it on one of our favorites clothing lines of the moment, and possibly all time.

I'm a former wholesale sales representative for major contemporary clothing lines turned fashion writer with a style obsession! My fashion career and love for writing all came together back in 2009 when I found Dina Manzo's Alice & Olivia Ombre Rosette Dress was something I could have in my closet and noticed that Patti Stanger wore Express and decided to write about it. I love fashion and am lucky to have had awesome readers that helped make my dream a career.
