Lauren Loves: Glam Holiday Cards by Minted

‘Tis the season for giving…And sending. While I’ve been known to skip the sending because I can find the whole Holiday card thing to be a pain, having two kids is making me feel more adultish, so I decided to give it a go this year. I was SO in love with Valentino’s gorgeous, gold, foil-pressed birth annoucements (below) from Minted.com I decided to go back for more.

Since I’m like a cat when it comes to shiny objects, I already knew I was going straight for their huge selection of glam, foil pressed-designs to choose my design. And in the name of full disclosure I also may have gone back for more from Minted because I felt the need to try the glitter lined envelopes, which let me tell you, did not disappoint. Once everything was designed and I approved the proof, I had the cards in less than a week. I was smart enough to take advantage of their free envelope addressing, so all I have left to do is put on a festive stamp and pop ’em in the mail!

My design selection was perfect for my family because I didn’t have one great photo of us all together with Valentino being so young—you’d better believe you weren’t seeing me in a hospital gown stuck on every friend, relative and neighbors gleaming, stainless steel fridge—so this gave me a the great option of putting many of my favorite pics together. And as a blogger, I have more than a few of those.
