June 14, 2012-
As many of you know, I was in New York last week doing some shopping and doing some work. But when your work includes picking out your favorite fabulous pieces from one of your favorite stores and striking a pose in them on the rooftop of a great Manhattan hotel, it’s just as good as the shopping.
Did I mention the last shot is an unairbrushed, unedited, untouched picture of me in a monokini? I think I had a nightmare about a photo like that ending up of me on the internet, so please be kind ;-).
Check out my top picks from ReveBoutique.com and use code LaurenBBH15 to get 15% off through 6.18.12 on these pieces and more.
Save the best for first? Okay, in my world of instant gratification, those are words to live by. I’m absolutely obsessed with the design, detailing and color palette of this dress. Wherever you are going, whether it is a wedding, party, or dinner, everyone will take notice of your dress and know you are a girl who knows what fashion is all about.
Hello white party! Summer is the time to wear white, and I’m beyond obsessed with the shimmer in this Savee Couture piece. The top photo truly captures the glimmer of this sexy dress at night when it catches the light! It also comes with a removable broach, which I opted to keep on, because as I like to say, “The more bling the better”. I also paired it with my favorite Clara Kasavina Fiona Hoops.I have never gotten so much use out of a pair of earrings!
Who wore it better? Teresa Giudice or me? Don’t answer that ;-). The point is that this dress comes in many colors and is down to about the knee, so it is appropriate for any occasion. And it works very well with my Leslie Danzis clover hoops that I wore with this dress on Saturday and to the park with a white tee yesterday.
Talk about dramatic … Want to make a statement at the pool? Didn’t shed the winter pounds? Walk in with this cover up and no one will question why you’re not taking it off.
Statement necklaces are what it’s all about, and this gorgeous piece is a great update on Kathy Wakile’s famous necklace from last season’s Real Housewives of New Jersey. And it’s available for well under $100.
A special thank you to The Bentley Hotel New York for letting us use their amazing rooftop view to do our shoot. It’s a gorgeous, newly redone, well priced hotel that offers a bit of serenity in Manhattan. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to New York.
