Emily Simpson’s Faux Leather Leggings on WWHL

Even though it’s Emily Simpson quoted below saying “If you ever take one piece of advice from me … it’s this … Every girl needs at least one pair of these faux leather leggings!!” it could have come right out of my mouth. I am a major proponent of leggings made by the top shape wear companies, specifically Spanx and Commando. I mean, of course they’re going to know how to nip and tuck you with the fabric they use, they are the experts!
In addition to Emily’s I linked the pairs I have on rotation below, and while I thought I had a good enough arsenal with 4 pairs, Emily me know she has about 10!
When you’re looking through my selections—most of them are the same brand as Emily’s—note how I wear them. I wear my plain/shimmer version with otk suede boots and a longline blazer to work. I also wear them with a distressed or novelty sweatshirt to my kid’s sporting events. I opt for the two camo pairs when going casual for errands, hanging around the house or parental duties with a plain top. And finally, I wear my patent pair alllll the time during the winter with a blazer dress or cute longer top for a night out.
And with that, I’m about to enjoy the rest of my car ride away for a long weekend looking comfy, and a size smaller, in my black camo Spanx.
