If you read my last post or follow the Instagram of Erika Girardi, Neiman Marcus or Vogue, then you’ve already seen the amazing tongue-in-chic collab video that this perfect fashion trifecta came together on. If you haven’t, the jist is that our favorite Pretty Mess finds herself in a mess of the best kind when she’s locked in Neiman’s alone after hours. As you might imagine, she finds ever entertaining ways to kill the time.
As I wrote in my previous post, this is major proof that a lot has changed since I first started this site and the days when Anna Wintour said Reality Star Kim Kardashian would never end up in Vogue. Seeing the faces of the fashion I’ve covered so long end up on a high-fashion website is a total treat for me. We’ve always loved their looks here, but in the early days of the show (and even now) there are laughs made at the expense of some of their fashion choices. So who’s laughing now as Erika debuts her second collab with the mag and a luxury retailer ;-p?
Even the idea that Big Blonde Hair and Vogue are associated with similar content shows how much things have evolved! Back in the day when I was freelance writing I would have died to cover the topics they cover on their website and in their magazine. And now, I am. So here’s to hoping that 8 years from now I’m touring the Vogue closet—or that I have the same things in mine.
