Friday Fashion Face Off: Outfit of the Week

May 19, 2017-

By Lauren

So in similar fashion to our (hopefully) weekly ‘Blonde v. Brunette’ segment where we check out products or offer opinions on Housewives-related items (see posts here), we are also going to (*try) do a weekly roundup with our favorite item we each featured during the week. We always love to get feedback about your favorites and maybe you can even make the case for something yourselves! So here we are with our second Fashion Friday Faceoff! Have a great weekend!

Lauren Says:

For my favorite outfit this week I’m taking to Instagram, and our girl Stassi Schroeder. The Queen of the Pump Rules cast (what, you can’t deny it) shared a pool side photo shoot pic, and while at first I couldn’t figure out if she has the ultimate leg muscles or was sitting on a lucite chair, once I made sense of the fact that Stassi uses pool rails for a sexier reason than stability while taking a dip, everything came together for me and it was all love.

Her white fringe cover up tunic came into my life just in time for my search for a great piece to throw on over my post baby bod that I keep talking about working on but haven’t quite gotten to yet. I also love it because you can wear it by the pool and cover up a bit and then convert it to a nighttime look by putting a white tank dress under it (like this one).

So per usual, our favorite Vanderpump Rules fashionista has us covered—literally. And while if I had the body of Stassi I’d never wear a cover up of any type, I totally have to give her props for bring this look to light right before pool season.

Boy Bye,

Lauren

(Yes, I know I stillll need to think of a cute signature like Sally)

Sally Says:

Tinsley Mortimer and Shiva Safai are currently tied as my fave new Bravolebrities (Shiva is one by proxy), and they are both constantly giving me major inspo. Shiva because she’s really really really really, really, really, perfect both outside and inside, and Tinsley because, while we are sure she’s equally lovely inside, she wears super easy to relate to, attainable, and well-chosen outfits. So far her go-to brands include Alice + Olivia, Nicholas, Self Portrait, Christian Louboutin, Alexandre Birman, Alexis, and other department store brands that we love. Her style, while way different from Shiva’s, is flirty, feminine, and well fitting, and many pieces go on sale at the end of the season, making them even better.

This week on her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Tinsley showed us some of her candid personality and we really thought she was lovely. And in this case, her endearing personality definitely matched her red, strappy off the shoulder bandage flair dress and strappy bow heels. The dress and the heels are an all season slam dunk, that can take you from a Christmas office party to summer in the Hamptons and back again. The dress is a shape that can flatter nearly every body type and while the shoes may not be the most comfortable, they are certainly perfect to wear with everything! Ya, I loved this look. And I may copy it like a Bethenny with a LuAnne haircut.

Keep it Real,

Sally xo
