I have a special place in my heart for Jackie Goldschneider’s red off the shoulder dress at Jennifer’s anniversary party because of a a different red dress that I own by the designer that saved me in a pinch. As the story goes, I was hosting an event at a boutique and I needed to pick out an outfit once I got there. The boutique is like hottie central, and when I was a wholesale rep often boutiques like that really only stocked their super cute clothes in XS, S and M because their client was a fit woman, often a mom, with a big budget, much like a Real Housewife. This was one of those places.

So, back when I was a size 2 this wouldn’t have been an issue, but that’s not my post-Valentino reality who is juggling a lot of work and parenting with not much gym time. SO this designer saved me because her dress that I picked out was about the only thing in the place that would fit (#Awkward by the way).  It’s super cute, looked great in the photos and I have gotten a lot of use out of it since. I totally recommend her bold colored, feminine pieces, just like Jackie’s. In fact, I might just throw mine on tonight for Valentines Day.
