Why I love this dress: It’s fun for me to try new styles, and this dress isn’t like anything in my closet. I think pieces with a sports inspo are big right now with the athleisure trend being so prevalent, and this is a different way to wear it. It’s a total change from the other piece I have from Shabby Apple (see tulle skirt post here) and I am really happy with the quality, fit and styling of both.
Where I wore it: I brought this dress on vacation to shoot pics of it and actually ended up wearing it for some family photos taken during time with my in laws. It’s casual yet pulled together and served the purpose well. My plan is to pair it with some white, sports inspired heels and a white bag with a little mesh detailing to wear out or to wear casually with flats for a less formal occasion. I feel like it’s a very versatile piece.
Inspiration: To me this dress is a casual take on Stella McCartney’s famous sporty spice styles. The athletic influence and shape really reminded me of her designs!
