Starting the summer off with appropriate drama, Lauren Wirkus’ embroidered layered top was more covered than I think we have ever seen Lauren. This beautiful top, perfect for a vacay in Greece (or the Hamptons), is embroidered with pretty flowers and has all the fun layers a girl could want.

As a Chicago girl, my closet is filled with black on black on black. I have very few (editor’s note: please take “few” with a grain of salt) white shirts because I’m not really a winter white type of gal. But I’ve always wanted to pull off that “First Wives’ Club” chic winter white suiting look. The one problem with that is that if you plan to be outside for two seconds you will have black rain/melted snow splattered on the bottom of your pants in no time. I’ll stay with summer white for now, like Lauren’s perfect top.
