The Pretty Mess Tour Chicago Review

If you follow my personal Instagram you saw a whole lot of Erika Jayne last night, as my friend Jen Worman (check out her blog if you haven’t, RedSolesandRedWine.com) went to The Pretty Mess tour at Lincoln Hall in Chicago. If you’re an Erika Jayne fan and she’s coming to your city you will not be disappointed!
First, we paid extra to do the meet and greet (middle priced package at $80) and it was totally worth it. We waited for an hour, which is not something I normally do in my 30’s unless it involves a Hermes sale, but was so glad we did! From what I heard she took the time to say hello to everyone, chat a little, and even compliment outfits. It ended up she knows BigBlondeHair.com (I have legit video proof below thanks to Jen;-p) so that pretty much made my life worth living as she has one of my favorite closets that we cover. Additionally, who else could I wear my sunglasses in a photo with an not look redic?! Loved it.
I’m not going to post a ton of video just because I don’t want to spoil it, but she put on a great show. There was amazing energy, fun songs, great costumes, hot backup dancers—think Magic Mike—and she looked insane! Lincoln Hall in Chicago is a small venue so it made it even better as there wasn’t a bad spot in the house. Everyone who came to the show was a big Housewives fan so it made meeting people in the crowd fun too. This may sound mildly insane but I enjoyed her show as much as Beyonce and Jay Z, seeing as Real Housewives are my life 40 hours a week for the past 8 years.
If you’re looking for a fun night and love Erika Jayne as much as we do definitely catch her on tour! I think the show was around an hour (not including the meet and greet), but the tickets were well priced at $40 for general admission, $80 for general admission and meet and greet, and $250 for the top VIP package. Do the meet and greet early, leave and grab dinner close by, and then come back like Jen and I did. Click here to buy tickets before they sell out, which they did in Chicago!
