Tuesday Style Tip with Jazmin Gonzalez

On my trip to New York last week I had the pleasure of a styling session with Jazmin Gonzalez, Stylist to Dorit Kemsley in addition to some of New York’s other most stylish women. Going into it I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to accomplish, I just knew I had  always wanted to work with a stylist and I really liked Jazmin’s work and aesthetic.

Once we met she helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and what I needed, which was  a new “summer uniform” that fit my lifestyle which includes everything from night’s out in the city to little league baseball games.  Then she helped me create the perfect looks that can be dressed up for a night out, or dressed down for more casual days with the kids but didn’t stray from my normal style. The focal point? Biker shorts.

The looks she created are chic, stylish and can work for a variety of body types depending on how you mix and match. Currently curvy like I am? Add a long line blazer. Been hitting the gym? Cue a crop top! Don’t want to break the bank? My biker shorts are only $18 and can be mixed and matched with many things I already have in my closet and you probably do too.
