Whitney Rose’s black combat boots in Las Vegas reminded me that I have a super cute pair of pearl embellished combat boots in my closet that I haven’t worn yet this season. I love them but they seem a bit hot for Austin and with my size 42’s a heavy, chunky shoe is like a major calf workout and leaves me out of breath (kid you not if I walk a long way in them my calves burn, lol).
And I digress. While Whit’s black boots are designer and a splurge, I found some Style Stealers below if you just want to try the trend. If you’d like them to look even more like hers I also linked some chunky white laces and you can swap them with the ones that come with the SS’s for an extra edge. I love a good lace swap, I do it to change up the look of a shoe. I like to add a different color or leopard print lace to my Golden Geese (?) and with my old Adidas Superstars I add a chunky, flat lace like this one to update the look.
