Celebrity Inspired Maternity Style: Khloe Kardashian’s Sheer Sleeve Duster Jacket
I’m 36 weeks preggo and am beyond ready to shop for non-maternity clothing. So, when creating the look I shot with the hubs today, I went for inspo from one of my favorite non-maternity looks worn by Khloe Kardashian that involves the duster she’s been spotted in quite a few times. And that being the case, I’m also linking to non-maternity versions of my tank and denim so you non-preggos can build this look yourself.
As everyone who follows my daily fashion posts on my @BigBlondeHair Instagram knows, my go-to maternity style staple ever since I began to show is a duster jacket a la KimKardashian and Chrissy Teigen. Now at 9 months I barely going outside without one since it’s the way I feel comfortable and not huge because of the way it creates the illusion of a slimmer silhouette. It’s hot in the Chi right now, so I’ll opt for a sleeveless duster or trench normally, but this duster has sheer sleeves so when I wore it today to lunch and an appointment I didn’t break a sweat. It’s also a great night time and fall transition piece. Yeah having an extra layer isn’t always ideal, but I’m someone who’d 100 times rather be confident and feel good about what I look like than be a few degrees cooler. The best part about the dusters are that I will definitely wear them post bambino, so they weren’t a waste of cash!
So, all in all, I feel like you cannot go wrong with this jacket. It’s rose gold color will look great into the fall, and as you can tell with Khloe’s looks you can wear it with black, white or nude and it totally works. And as you can even tell in pics, the color is super rich looking in person. Hands down, this is probably my favorite piece I’ve bought my whole pregnancy and one of my favorite looks, which I never thought I’d say so far along. I can’t wait to wear it more!
