I love seeing things in celebrity homes that I have in my home, it makes me feel like I’m in the know! Chrissy Teigen’s grey and white stripe potholder on her Instagram Story was immediately recognizable, especially since I had just used my own! My question is, do you call it a hot pad or a potholder? I grew up calling it a hotpad – I mean, it pads hot things, right? Apparently, that’s not even a word in the English language. I’ll feel a lot better about the last 30 something years if there are people other than my parents who call potholders hotpads. If not, my entire life has been a lie, I’m kidding, mostly.
