Why I love this look: I’m a rocker-chic kind of girl at heart, although I’m still working on have it really show through in my dressier style. If I could pick one designer to wear it would be Balmain, but since there’s a big-bucks factor, I created this look to reflect that style.

Where I wore it: Out in River North in the late afternoon / early evening. Oddly enough it’s been in the 60’s in Chicago, although it’s June, so I’ve had a jacket around just in case! Normally I’d save my leather jacket for Fall/Winter, even though I love it! On a day too warm for leather, I’d wear this with distressed denim or another slim fitting pencil skirt.

Inspiration: Balmain! I designed this tee as part of a collaboration with one of my favorite places for graphic tee’s, T+J Designs to express my true love for Balmain! I paired it with some of my favorite pieces—that faux leather pencil skirt has been my go-to for Fall, Winter, Spring and now into our chilly Summer—as an exaggerated expression of my love of leather and embellishment that is a true representation of that Balmain beauty on a budget!
