Why I love this look: First and foremost, I love a GOOD maxi. What else can you throw on with flats and minimal jewelry to turn heads, without showing it all off? The open back, slit, draped detailing, lining (the quality is important, unlined maxi’s can show EVERYTHING) on this piece make it extra special, and I’m obsessed with the coloring.
Where I wore it: These photographs I did for my MK Collab eBoutique at Montrose Beach on the North Side of Chicago—it was literally 48 degrees and I was freezing—but it was so worth it because the colors worked beautifully. In “real life” I wore this look to the brunch the day after one of my best friend’s weddings. I seriously think it’s a no-brainer for brunch, lunch, dinner, wedding showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, traveling…Just about anything!
Inspiration: A little bit of Real Housewives of Orange County style, of course! This is totally OC piece is from my Orange County-based MK Collab boutique that I recently started working under Vicki Gunvalson on. It’s pretty awesome because it allows women to make money off of what they wear, which was previously only and option for high-level celebs and top bloggers. And if you love this dress and buy it, you are only around $300 away from owning your own eBoutique and being on my team. Email me at [email protected] for more info if you are interested. You’ll see these items all season long on Real Housewives of Orange County!

After about 5 years of stalking celebrity fashion, I’ve only shown you a small fraction of my rather large closet and fashion knowledge. That being said, I’ve decided to dive in to a new “Lauren Loves” feature on BigBlondeHair.com. Every Wednesday (and more), you can expect a new outfit post of my finds inspired by celebrities as well as my own taste. I’ll feature everything from Saint Laurent to Forever 21 and tell you why I love it all. I own it all, so please feel free to comment with questions about sizing, retailers, styling or anything else.
