While we’ve recently seen Nene Leakes out protesting racial injustice, today she took to Instagram to show us she was out doing her part in something else important: voting. I think it’s great for people like her who have a platform and a following to encourage other people to do good, and not just when it comes to shopping for her floral print cardigan. While normally it might be easier to get some of us to the mall than to wait in line at the polls, when you see the $1,980 tag her cardi carries it might just have you scrambling to submit your ballot instead.
